Additional ATPE team members for final launch: Mandy Curtis & Bret Messer
ATPE’s website was relaunched in May 2014 after a multi-year effort involving several vendor changes. Throughout the process, I was the internal lead for all matters related to content strategy and user experience. We finally hit upon a winning combination when we began working with the teams at Adaptdev and 97 Degrees West.
My responsibilities throughout the project’s various iterations and vendors included:
- Interviewing internal stakeholders and developing an inventory of requirements.
- Reviewing and providing recommendations to executive decision makers on contracts and SOWs.
- Project management responsibilities, including meeting documentation and ticket management.
- Developing an initial site map and draft wireframes for key custom components, including the membership application and the legal assistance request form (Member Legal Services Intake System).
- Working directly with UX designers, developers, graphic designers and copywriters.
- Shepherding design iterations and third-party copywriting through the internal review process.
- Coordinating the preparation of all ATPE-provided copy and images for initial launch.
